Footscray is currently brightening up Melbourne’s inner west, with an array of art, music, performances and immersive installations  at Sleepless Festival. This event runs between May 2 and 18 and showcases and celebrates the rich culture and talent of Footscray and the western suburbs.

The whole focus of Sleepless is about activating disused spaces, and bringing life through arts and culture to the streets of the local community. Using up dead space in creative and entertaining ways has been the order of the day, and has proven very successful.

Supported by Maribyrnong City Council, Sleepless is a testament to Footscray’s transformation into a dynamic creative and social hub, welcoming people of all ages and backgrounds. From the break of dawn to the twilight hours and beyond, Sleepless beckons you to explore, engage, and connect with the pulsating energy of Footscray.
